Here you will find a few round binary plots made on the AxiDraw. On paper with various colours, using different fineliners. Different number of bits and also different representations.

6 bits circles, white on black, in sequence

    • 6 bits so 26 = 64 circles
    • Black paper, white lines. Plotted twice for better visibility
    • In sequence from the top left to the bottom right
    • Dimensions: 15×15 cm

10 bits circles, black on white, in sequence
    • 10 bits so 210 = 1024 circles
    • Plotted on CANSON® XL® Bristol Bristolpaper A4.
    • Black, pigmented fine liner.
    • In sequence from the top left to the bottom right
    • Dimensions: 19x19cm

Details of this plot. It shows that it isn’t printed: the starting points are a bit blacker because it always starts at the same position (three ‘ o clock).

8 bits circles, black on white, shuffled
  • 8 bits so 28 = 256 circles
  • Plotted on CANSON® XL® Bristol Bristolpaper A4.
  • Black, pigmented fine liner.
  • Shuffled, all circles are different
  • Dimensions: 15×15 cm

Detail. You see the same imperfections as before..
