A rectangle of three by eight squares, completely filled with twelve dominoes: no gaps, no overlaps. There are 153 ways to do this, and all of them are shown here. The longer the rectangle, the faster the number grows: 1, 3, 11, 41, 153, … Each number is four times the previous one minus the one before that. See OEIS A001835.
